Garage Sale and Local Market Report for Grand Lakes Katy Texas
Garage Sale and Local Market Report for Grand Lakes Katy Texas
Grand Lakes subdivision in Katy Texas will hold its fall garage sale
on Saturday October 8, from 7:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Garage sales in
this neighborhood usually has a large turnout of folks and most arrive
early. There will be excellent items to buy throughout the neighborhood.
I live in Grand Lakes and the sales have always been very successful
for the residents as well as the buyers.
Grand Lakes is a Master Planned Community
located off of Fry Road. Take the Grand Parkway or 99 South heading
towards Sugar Land and get off at Fry Road. Grand Lakes is on both the
East side of 99 and the west side after going by the various shopping
areas.
Currently there are
49 homes available for sale in Grand Lakes and 19 out of the total or
approximately 39 % are priced for sale at $300,000 or less. The median
list price (mid-point) is $215,000 and this equates to 88.70 per square
foot. These very reasonable priced homes are available right now but have been selling fairly quickly.
The supply of available homes priced at $300,000 or less is only 2.3
months of homes at current rates of sale. There is dwindling each month
as the year goes on of available homes priced at this level.
Home buyers there is a golden opportunity for you to still buy a reasonably priced home in the beautiful neighborhood of Grand Lakes Katy Texas but this opportunity will not last forever. Interest rates
for homes buyers are at or close to historic lows. No one should expect
interest rates to remain at these levels forever. Grand Lakes of course
is zoned for Katy ISD award winning school district.
Buyers don’t wait any longer to contact me
as I will arrange to take you on a tour of Grand Lakes and/or any other
neighborhood in the Katy or surrounding areas. I will show you all the
reasons why this area is a really great place to call home. Please do
not make the mistake to assume that the supply of reasonably priced
homes will be there forever.
