New Recreation Center Under Construction in Cinco Ranch West!
The new Cinco Ranch West Community Center is now under construction and is designed to have the feel of a small town Texas train station! This recreation center was designed with green building codes in mind and is a LEED certified project. The complex covers 76 acres and is a showcase for the 2500 acres of Cinco Ranch now being developed with homes priced from about $170,000 to over 1 million. The LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a national benchmark for creating green buildings. The project will also have a cistern for capturing rainwater for irrigation of the surrounding parks and open spaces! The new Recreation Center should be open for the Memorial Day weekend of 2008!
